British singer-songwriter RAYE releases her brand-new single entitled “Call On Me” along with the music video. Co-written and co-produced by RAYE, “Call On Me” is another sure-fire smash pop/dance banger that fans of RAYE’sfirst-class song writing are sure to devour this summer. The song follows the release of her hit collaboration, “BED” with Joel Corry and David Guetta, which peaked at #2 on the Apple Music Dance Chart and #48 on the Billboard Global 200 Charts. “Call On Me” is available now at all digital retail providers via Interscope Records.
RAYE says about the track, „I wrote this song on a day when my sister was going through something pretty intense, and I was so heartbroken for her. I basically wrote this song for her. The lyrics say just call my phone when you’re not ok and I’m gonna be there, help you fix everything that is broken and take care of you.“
The music video for “Call On Me”, which was envisioned and co-directed by RAYE alongside Sophia Ray, is inspired by Old Hollywood, musicals and dance movies from the ‘50s and ‘60s. The finished product was even scanned onto film for an added layer of authenticity. Featuring a number of beautifully choreographed dance routines with a full ensemble, countless costume changes, and an overall extraordinary performance by RAYE, the video is meant to symbolize a celebration of life—something feel-good that listeners can dance to as the Coronavirus Pandemic subsides and the world finally starts to open back up.
