PLS&TY ft. Lost Boy – „Party In My Head“

1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release „Party In My Head“ to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

Piña Colada – a signature summer cocktail for the breezy new single.

2. Please give us an update about your forthcoming EP „3 days, 2 nights”

The ‚3 Days, 2 Nights‘ EP on Seeking Blue Records features 6 cascading singles from March to July, all presenting a new pop-house/dance sound for PLS&TY.  3 songs feature lighter piano-house production, playing off of the „3 Days“ daytime motif and titling, while 2 feature darker house production, playing off of the „2 Nights“ nighttime motif and titling.  The EP marks PLS&TY’s return to traditional music releases after his 2021-2022 experimentation within the emerging NFT (non-fungible-token) space, with notable projects peaking at #3 and #10 in August and September of 2022 on Billboard’s Music NFT sales chart alongside Snoop Dogg, David Bowie, and Eminem.

3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

PLS&TY came from the year 3000.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

Off-White – modern, high-end streetwear

5. Tell us more about your songs! Do you have a favorite topic or or a place/situation that usually inspires you?

Traveling never fails to inspire me. Seeing new places, meeting new people, trying new things… it’s newness that sanctions growth and inspiration for me in every aspect of life.

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I wish…

7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist.

Music brings cultures and individuals from all walks of life together. I desire to create music that inspires around the world. In doing so, I hope to foster a community for listeners and fans that is not confined to any one single geographical area, bringing people closer together no matter where they are in the world, and opening doors full of new friends, beginnings and perspectives.

I desire to create and collaborate with individuals from many different genres – hip-hop, RnB, reggae, pop, etc.

I desire for audiences to find their own unique meanings within my art.

The most important piece of advice that I have received involves believing in oneself. Believe in yourself. Believe in what makes you unique. I promise others will too.

A silly one – I’ve jokingly stated on Twitter in the past that in another life I would move to the U.K. and become a drum and bass producer. I am a huge fan of drum and bass & the accompanying scenes that are present in many parts of the world outside of the U.S.

8. How did you learn to write and produce music?

I grew up a classically trained pianist and later attended the prestigious Icon Collective music school in Los Angeles!

9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before? + Answer pls

Q: The biggest challenges you’ve faced as an artist.

A: Making others believe in yourself as much as you do.
