art’otel Zagreb is located in the Jewish Liturgical Community Building, a beautiful building designed in 1928 by the famous architects Freudenreich & Deutsch. The building is one of Zagreb’s finest examples of Art Deco architecture. When restoring the hotel in collaboration with restorers, care was taken to fully preserve the historical significance and its authentic appearance. Apart from the architecture and modern interior, the concept of the hotel is made unique by the artist, who is the common thread of the hotel’s visual experience, giving it a special artistic atmosphere. In Zagreb, the hotel presents the original work of the famous painter and graphic designer Boris Bućan, which will appeal to all art lovers. The core of the brand is art, which is why art’otel Zagreb exhibits a collection of original works by renowned artists.
