Men in Blazers x Todd Snyder – Limited-Edition Capsule

Todd Snyder has partnered with Men in Blazers, the largest soccer-focused media company in North America on a limited-edition collection just in time for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and a three-part podcast series diving into lessons about American style, leadership, entrepreneurism and success.

The Men In Blazers x Todd Snyder Collection blends American sports culture and the British football world inspired by vintage collegiate styles. Featuring a ‘Courage Sweatshirt,’ Varsity Jacket, Cardigan, Beanie and Scarf, the pieces are the perfect addition to any soccer fans’ wardrobe.

The partnership was born out of an unexpected place – the March 2020 lockdown. Roger Bennett, founder of Men In Blazers has a passion for blazers and wore one daily, so when the world went remote he found himself in a wardrobe predicament–he had nothing to wear indoors. How was that problem solved? Todd Snyder. “Mid-lockdown I assessed my closet and realized I only had two sweatshirts. Suffice it to say, my wardrobe has exploded since then and a core part of that has been falling in love with the Todd Snyder brand.” says Bennett. “A modern American classic label that I emotionally connected to so much. My love for the brand led me to Todd himself. I thought it would be a delight to tape a podcast, a “Toddcast” if you will. I want this to grasp our audience’s interest and offer lessons in style, creativity, leadership and management that they will bring into their own lives.”

In 2021, Roger took his new found passion for the Todd Snyder brand, and after realizing they had a good friend in common, Roger and Todd connected and discussed the idea of collaborating. While the partnership at first could be surprising, it’s important to note that Roger Bennett founded Men in Blazers on a deep passion for many things: soccer, life, brews, America, Tracy Chapman (Roger’s favorite musician) and menswear. Snyder himself is no stranger to collaboration, with a successful track record working with American heritage brands including L.L.Bean, Footjoy, Champion, New Balance and Timex to name a few. After a few meetings, it made sense for America’s leading menswear designer to join forces with Men in Blazers, who have become one of the most listened-to soccer platforms in the world.

The three-part series titled “MIB x Todd Snyder: Conversations on Creativity” was recorded this summer over a brew between Todd & Roger at Snyder’s store named “The Liquor Store” in NYC’s TriBeCa neighborhood.

The partnership drops at a time when the Todd Snyder brand is undergoing a major retail expansion opening six stores in 2022 and several more slated in 2023. “The past few years we’ve seen a rapid industry shift in how and where brands choose to interact with consumers. Collaboration has always been a key part of my brand and when meeting with Roger, it became clear to me the potential of using both our platforms to speak directly to a wide audience of new consumers in key growth markets across the US and globally.” says Snyder. “While I don’t play soccer myself, fashion and sports have always intersected and we are seeing that marriage explode in a positive way right now.”
