1. Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!

No show name, just the name I was born with Leon Stanford. At least I didn’t have to worry about any other music pages with the same name

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

Love Is A Colour my newest single is the last track to be released as part of my six track EP. In the upcoming weeks I shall be announcing some new shoes as well a video for Love Is A Colour

3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

1- my biggest dream is to have one of my songs in a Richard Curtis movie soundtrack

2- I can’t read music and can barely play an instrument but wrote a good few of my songs using a smart keyboard on a garage band phone app, then got my friends to play it better
3-I also sing in a critically acclaimed rock band called The People The Poet
4- I write a lot of my melodies in the shower or in empty houses when I’m painting them with my full time job

5)I’ve never played a gig in Germany but would love to after watching Fleetwood Mac play in Berlin a couple years back

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

Aldi cause you’re getting music equally as good as the big names(possibly better sometimes) at a cheaper price

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

Writing music is like free therapy. I write to understand my own thoughts, and I write for those people around me to give them a voice about their troubles and their stories.

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

Half decent at the Guinness drinking game

7. Being on stage feels like….!

Being a different person, I am very much an ordinary looking person most would walk past and possibly not put my voice to my face but I love that reaction when they realise I have a voice and thought out lyrics to say

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

I watched a lot of Stars In Their Eyes as a kid and I enjoyed impersonating other singers. I eventually joined a band where I found more love for writing music than singing other people’s songs.

If you could come back to the world as something else, what would it be?

100 percent a dog! I have a 2 year old Cocker Spaniel called Rolo and he loves life and is constantly happy and full of love.
