Regeneration is the energy of ICEBERG’s Spring/Summer 24 collection, a transformative power as the brand enters its 50th anniversary year. The rebirth of the snake gives the key leather print, while utility is celebrated as the new modern heritage. Silhouettes are slashed, swimwear shows skin, bikers give high octane attitude: it’s pure ICEBERG, always reborn.
“This is the true spirit of Iceberg today: fun, full-on, confident, strong. Snakeskin is about a life of constant transformation, of never stopping and always looking ahead. These are pieces to throw on, enjoy wearing, and dance in till dawn,” says James Long, creative director of ICEBERG.
Everything has edge for ICEBERG this Spring/Summer 24. Black cotton shirts are zippered all down the sleeves; wide black tuxedo pants have zips all the way up the legs. The look is finished with a cutaway biker harness in black embossed croc faux leather – a play with volume and contrast that runs throughout the collection.
Black embossed croc faux leather bandeau tops are cut with a zip at the front, the zip turning into shoulder straps; black cutaway bikers in embossed croc faux leather are worn with matching mini-skirts, over cutaway swimwear finished with I circle hardware.
Snakeskin is full-on ICEBERG, printed on faux leather and cut with sportswear and moto details for trenches and bikers. These are worn with matching mini-skirts, knee length shorts, or one piece and two piece snakeskin print swimwear with I circle hardware.
Utility is part of ICEBERG’s very modern heritage, with triple-pocket cargo skirts cut from four tones of khaki, or in floor-length white cotton worn with a white vest. Safari jackets are a key silhouette, khaki shirts have short sleeves held by epaulettes, while boilersuits have zips to reveal the shoulder, and are zippered all the way down the leg.
High altitude hardware, like D-rings and zips, trim knit vests and skirts. Little black knit dresses are ruched, to give the effect of a snakeskin that’s been shed, and are worn over zippered tux pants. Faux leather tailoring is laser cut with ICEBERG; black loose-cut tailoring is cut purposefully inside out.
Printed phyton boots have the I heel, with zips down the front finished with an I circle zip-pull. There are also faux snakeskin I heel corset boots and ankle-strap sandals. An archive ICEBERG envelope bag is revived and refreshed from the archive, its volume pumped up for today.
