GORE-TEX x Samsøe Samsøe by Orienteer Mapazine

The GORE-TEX brand is an expert in high-performance products and a constant innovator when it comes to materials for outerwear, shoes and accessories. Samsøe Samsøe is therefore particularly pleased to use GORE-TEX’s unique membrane technology to introduce a new level of functionality into their design. The collaboration presents practical and stylish styles for any outdoor adventure, be it in the city or in nature. From lined coats to gloves, the collection includes popular styles, like last year’s David jacket, reworked in new colors like a bright shade of blue.

Using the GORE-TEX Brand’s outstanding product technology, such as the windproof, breathable and water-repellent WINDSTOPPER® material, the styles are shaped into silhouettes that represent Samsøe Samsøe’s own aesthetic – contemporary and timeless in equal measure. The collection is once again presented in collaboration with Orienteer Mapazine, founded by Jack West and Rory Griffin in London to emphasize their commitment to nature. In the style of an old OS map, Orienteer brings together photographs, graphics and text ranging from lifestyle to fashion – all in connection with nature.

This year it is her perspective that has shaped all the images and the vision for this campaign. It was recorded by the founders in London, the magazine’s hometown. When asked what they find most exciting about this collaboration, Jack and Rory say they particularly appreciate „the elevated design of the blue David puffer jacket and the black Robert jacket, as it makes the styles feel city-appropriate without sacrificing functionality to lose.“
