FREDO RELEASES NEW ALBUM „INDEPENDENCE DAY“

West London rapper Fredo has today released his highly anticipated new album ‘Independence Day’.

To celebrate its release, he dropped the video to the track Flowers In The Snow last night. The video is directed by Nathan James Tettey (Stormzy, Dave, Headie One, Pa Saleiu) and brings the tropics and the arctic to a mansion on Park Lane.

The last four years have been an impressive journey for Fredo. With his 2018 mixtape Tables Turn charting at #5 and becoming the fourth biggest UK debut release that year, he followed this with his first #1 single alongside Dave with Funky Friday. In 2019 he released his #5 charting album Third Avenue and hit single Netflix & Chill, selling out his entire UK and Ireland tour, including two dates at London’s Kentish Town Forum. He also appeared on stage alongside Dave during Stormzy’s headline set at Glastonbury to perform Funky Friday. Earlier this year, Fredo released Money Can’t Buy Happiness, a #2 album in the UK and Ireland – his highest chart to date. The album featured the likes of Pop Smoke and Summer Walker and received critical acclaim from the likes of Complex, The Guardian, NME and more.
