Well the past 5 years I’ve been putting together a project of bangas! This year’s all about getting them out to you. Visuals, gigs n all!
We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
I’m not really in the know with conspiracy theories but I do love the movie Avatar lol! If being a blue, nature-loving, beautifully tall, ripped-to-shit Avatar could be a reality, I’d be all about it.
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Savage x Fenty
It’s sexy, it’s inclusive of ALL baddies, and it’s confidence-prompting. If you ask me, a DEJA x Savage x Fenty collab would go OFF.
Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message?!
I write most of my music with the intention of reaching people who need that self-love boost; the message usually leaning towards “men ain’t shit but I am lit” haha. Sometimes people – girls especially need to be reminded how fun and sexy they are and are ALLOWED to be.
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I’m a little gymnast! Still train and everything. Before all this music stuff I wanted to be a contortionist in the circus! I’m freakishly flexible loooool
Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
- I give no fucks. As long as it makes me and my vision happy, I do as I please lyrically, visually and all rounded-ly. It may not be trending, lyrical genius or whatever but I enjoy it and my people do too.
- I’m next to fuck-all without the team around me. I have the utmost respect for my team.
- I’m obsessive asf. I won’t sleep properly until my performance is ON POINT.
- Sex and feeling sexually liberated is important to me and that defo fuels a large part of my artistry.

How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
First off, I’m still learning. But it started back at home. My older sister used to write songs in her room and little DEJA would run in and force harmonies! Since then I’ve been obsessively immersing myself in music; tryna learn at everywhere I can:
- getting myself in sessions with bigger names
- watching and copying Beyonce and all the greatest performers; perfecting their audience involvement / vocal runs etc
- on-going dance training / vocal maintenance / working full time in performance

I’ve always had this answer ready to go but no one’s ever asked me what my favourite sound is! I have a few but my absolute fave is the sound of dry leafs under my shoes on a forest walk. I literally have a 40 minute recording of my walk through a beautiful Spanish village, Rascafria. I listen it when I’m stressed.
