Cloudy June – „Unthinkable“ + Exclusive Interview

Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music

Thank you so much for having me! I would say, the whole EP definitely gives me a Bloody Mary kinda vibe, so that’s gotta be the one!

Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

I just finished my first tour through Germany, and we’re currently planning my Europe Tour for 2023, which is completely wild. So for now, I’m just gonna take some time to write more music, and hopefully, drop some more new songs later this year.

We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

I really wish there was a heaven. But Dinosaurs living inside Earth is definitely a concept I could live with.

What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

I don’t really have one brand that sums it up, but it’s all about: Wear whatever you want!

Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

The whole Unthinkable EP deals with topics that are kinda taboo. ‚FU In My Head‘ for example is a song about masturbation, ‚DNA‘ is about being the black sheep of the family and feeling like you don’t fit in. I feel like my music gives me this opportunity to speak about these things and help people feel more comfortable in their sexuality and themselves.

Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I’m good with photoshop and video editing. For example, I did part of the editing for the music videos for ‚Mommy Issues‘ and for ‚Throw Up When I See Your Face‘ myself. This really comes in handy in many situations, but I feel like it also has made me a little control freak, especially when other people are in charge of my visual content.

Being on stage feels like….!

A hurricane. I’m really terrified sometimes as of now, but I’m looking forward to getting more and more comfortable on stage. Also, it’s incredible to hear the people in the audience sing along to my songs. That always feels like a party.

How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

I had guitar lessons for about a year when I was a kid. From then on, I started teaching myself a lot. I also wrote my first songs when I was 10. But I feel like only when I started collaborating with other people, that’s when I really got better at writing songs. So I learned a lot from the people that I work with.

A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

No question, I just wanna greet my sister!

Thanks again for having me and have a great day! <3
