Aurelios – ‘I’ve Had Enough’ + Exclusive Interview

1. Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!

Hi there, thanks to you for having me! I’m Aurelio Blandino, better known with the artist name Aurelios.
I’m an Italian music producer and dj with a strong passion for the electronic dance music (EDM).

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

My new single „I’ve Had Enough“ is already out on all platforms,it’s also my first release of 2022 and probably the best release so far.
I’ve got a new one on February 25th called „Driving On“ and I hope also this one will be another appreciated track.
No plans about releasing a new album since I’m focusing more in the singles, maybe in a few years? But,hell, who knows?
Currently I’m looking for a booking agent to start touring as a dj,even if the situation is not the best one due to the covid pandemic.
But I can’t wait to play my music around the world, seeing the crowd reacting to my tracks,it has been always the biggest dream of mine.

3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

1) I don’t like to identify my music with only one genre.
For sure I appreciate the fact that a lot producers tend to keep their style/genre for the whole music production career,
but I always do like to produce different stuff based on my current inspiration.

2) I’m willing to help smaller artists and producers with their products, trying to help them to get better and improve their music production skills.

3) I started making music because of curiosity, after two years the curiosity turned into passion and after 5 years it all turned into obsession.
I do love making music and I could not stay without it for days.

4) Unlike most of the music producers,I do not own any studio or speakers. I just use a laptop and open-back headphones (not very expensive though,I use Grado sr60e that you can find at 120€)
In this case my ideas and my tracks are not limited by budget.

5) I hate when people tell me I’m talented or something. After I spent a huge amount of hours per day, almost everyday from 7 years,it’s kinda normal you are good at something,no matter what you are doing.
It is not about talent,it’s all about passion, hard work, consistency and patience.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

We can define it as innovative, since as I said before I do not like to identify it with only one genre.
My music is always changing, implementing new and innovative stuff everyday, not depending from the trend of the moment.

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

I tend to express my emotions with the melodies I compose for my tracks. But more than a message,I would say that I try to inspire the other producers to create something unique as well.
About the listeners (not only producers),I always try to convey something to them. And since the music is a subjective experience, each listener could get a different „message“.

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

Although I have played Futsal for 5 years,I’m not great at it like with music. I’m a big fan in general of football and a lot of other sports,
but I think I don’t have any special talents. Maybe the fact that I can easily find the motivation to do something even if things don’t go well,it’s something good but definitely
not a talent!!

7. Being on stage feels like….!

Even if I played in different parties,I still need to experience playing in front of a big crowd in a festival or in a big club.
Although I would be anxious before the performance,I can just imagine it would be literally amazing being on stage!!

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

I’m actually a self-taught music producer, mixing and mastering engineer. I learned all by myself more with the practice than theory.
Especially during the first years,I learned new things just by hitting knobs and buttons randomly. Then I started to see some videos on Youtube and thanks to them I figured out many new notions.
I think the theory is really important, but if you want to achieve the „professional“ level, you need years of practice.
I’ve also read many books but to be honest I prefer videos and practical examples.

9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

Besides the fact that you are a music producer and dj,are you studying in some university? Or do you have any job?

Actually I’m a „full-time“ music producer and dj,and since currently I’m an independent artist as well, I do need to work also as a manager, mixing and mastering engineer and I need to take care about all socials (Tik Tok,Instagram,Facebook,Youtube ecc). It’s easy to understand that there are so many things to do and it takes a lot of time of course.
I actually went to university but I wasn’t able to manage the time for studying as well, and so I quit.
