ASICS SportStyle presents the NEOCURVE™ – ‚Not Total Rubbish‘ Campaign

ASICS SportStyle introduces the NEOCURVE™, an innovative shoe made from discarded, unused and recycled materials. Produced and sold in Europe from ground-up surplus and defective footwear, this shoe represents a significant step towards circular design. ASICS has managed to transform what was once considered waste into valuable resources. To realize this project, ASICS partnered with FastFeetGrinded, a leading footwear recycling company. Using advanced technology, FastFeetGrinded breaks down discarded shoes and separates the materials for reuse. The NEOCURVE™ is the impressive result of this process and promotes the circular economy in an innovative way.

Another important aspect of NEOCURVE™ is that it is entirely manufactured in Europe, which helps reduce CO₂ emissions. Every step, from collection and dismemberment to design and manufacturing, takes place in Europe, minimizing the environmental footprint

“The NEOCURVE™ project began with the question: Can we create something new from what we would otherwise throw away?” explains Hidetoshi Muraoka, Head of Circular Economy Projects at ASICS. The shoe proves that even unsaleable remaining items can have a second life.

ASICS is committed to reducing its environmental impact and achieving net zero emissions by 2050. The NEOCURVE™ is an important step on this path and shows the company’s commitment to a sustainable future.
