I just released my new single „Sunday Service“ – it is the most personal song I’ve written so far and a conversation with god.
We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
I wish there really was a paradise in heaven where we all go some day.
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Not that I could afford it – but I’m in love with 90`s Chanel looks!
Gold chains and belts, cute skirts, blazers and clunky plateau heels.
I love the combination between cute and „grungy“. I loves bows and Tull but also corsages and leather and lots of accessories.
My style represents my upcoming music perfectly – so stay tuned!

It took years and years for me to find out what type of music suits best for me – I went from very acoustic to bubblegum and electro pop and found myself most comfortable in mysterious dark and rock pop music with a deeply embedded message of self-empowerment <3
My Song „Sunday Service“ is the most personal song I’ve written so far. It’s a conversation with god. I grew up in a very catholic family and beside the music, belief has always been a major part in my life. I don’t go to church anymore and strongly disagree with a lot of things when it comes to church as an institution – but I never lost my true believe in a higher energy – it gives me strength and hope.
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
No matter how many times I tried, I have never managed to bake a cake that actually tastes good – guess you need a special talent for that . Oh, and I can do splits 😀
Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
My first name „Anica“ is Croatian and you pronounce it like „Aniza“
Hannah Montana was one of my biggest influences during my childhood
I started to write songs in English also because I didn’t want my Croatian and Italian parents to understand the lyrics.
I’d rather perform in front of 10.000 people instead of 10 – I get so nervous in front of just a few people whereas I feel so comfortable in front of big crowds:D
I always say a prayer right before going on stage
How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
Basically through watching TV 🙂
Just as a newborn I got to listen to my older siblings watching MTV and VIVA,
So that I subconsciously got introduced into the world of English pop music.
We had an electric organ in our living room that I started to use and play around with as a small child but when I got my first little guitar at age 4 I knew this was the instrument I’d write songs and make music with.
As soon as we started to have English lessons in school, I switched from composing German to English songs and let my English teacher do the revisions on my Lyrics. 😀
