1. Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!
Hey! Well WE ARE ISO from AUSTRALIA. Coming together during the pandemic. Singer-songwriter Straalen who was the youngest singer ever signed to SONY music and the celebrated DJ/Producer Jessy aka SVLT. These creatives have come together providing a very unique sound with to-die-for vocals,melody and storytelling backed with an awesome beat.
Think of the likes of Rufus, Hayden James and Darius and you get close to this rare combination. Together they bring soothing melodic synth sounds mixed with sweet beats to get your hips rocking and your feet grooving.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
We are so overwhelmed with the support that our new single LOVE N’ TRUST is receiving. We are so grateful. Right now we are focusing on the next release as well as organising our first Australian tour together. Our video for LOVE N’ TRUST
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as a band?!
We love performing live!
We try to write and finish at least 2 songs a week
We always laugh during our sessions
We are both very close to our families
We have a special hourglass in our studio that we always turn around the moment we enter the music studio.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Surfer vibes and fresh vibes! Jessy and Straalen both have very different styles both musically and fashion wise. So singer Straalen tries to keep it singer songwriter INDIE style and Jessy who creates the music has a very fresh style!
5. What’s your songwriting process?
We flip our studio hourglass, Jessy will crank a beat.. Straalen then feels the vibe of the song and starts throwing around melodies. We both talk about how we are feeling and whats been happening… then we start writing the story. Because we talk and laugh alot during our sessions, the flow is normally so good that the song just comes naturally. We are big believers in sometimes less is more, so we try and let the song tell the story.
6. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
Noise restrictions! Live music venues seem to be constantly getting into a heap of trouble more and more as time goes on. Live music is so important and we need to be able to crank it and make sure we support those venues that help so many musicians!
7. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
Straalen – I LOVE GARDENING! I can grow pretty much anything from a seed… Not sure if that’s a talent but I think it’s pretty funny…
Jessy – I love gaming haha! I play Fortnite competitively with my mates and other people from around the world.

What shoes are better Doc Martens or Converse?
Straalen – Docs for sure!
