Tom Goss – „Not My Problem – Feat. Meatball“ + Exclusive Interview

1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend they sip on while they listen to your new music?

For “Remember What it Feels Like” I’d say something fruity and fun. The more paper umbrellas and bigger the crazy straw the better.

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?

I’ve got a new single and music video out now called “Not My Problem” and it’s my idea of what life is like for my ex in prison. I’m currently on tour on the west coast. Www.Tomgossmusic.Com for details.

3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which harmless theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

I mean, aliens are the easiest to believe. How can we possibly be alone? Now, I don’t know if they’re from another planet, or just time overlapping into itself, but I’m into it.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

I’d have to say the women’s section at Nordstrom Rack. Lots of variety, lots of color, stuff you gotta try before it’s gone forever, and never gonna leave you feeling ripped off.

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

“Remember What it Feels Like” is a light hearted, acoustic pop centered romp through all the memories that define you. But don’t worry, it’s moves on to a new memory, a new feeling, not leaving you ruminating on anything for too long.

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I grew up as a gymnast, went to college on a wrestling scholarship, and still play a lot of soccer. I’m also a great cook!

7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist.

I’ll always leave you feeling more connected to the world than before you pressed play.

I swing from goofy, to serious.

I refuse to let genres define me.

I’m almost always smiling.

You’ll eventually hear about how much I love bears.

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play?

I was obsessed with dave Matthews band when I was in college. I asked for a guitar and spent years learning every dave Matthews song ever written.

9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

Who is your favorite ninja turtle?

Well, I loved Rafael because nobody liked him. He was the least cool (like me). Then, as an adult, I saw the movie again. He was so fucking annoying! He was obviously the overlooked, under-appreciated middle child. Again, totally like me. Let’s face it, he gets me!
