1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?
I’d recommend to have a variety of different drinks ready. As you listen to a whole album, a cetain lust for changes might appear, since
the songs also move around in a little playground, up-down, high-low, small-big, fast slow. So maybe at least a beer, a cocktail, a zip of
Slivovice (czech hard liquor) and a glass of water (because that’s always the clever way to go, rigt?).
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
We just released an album called „Sleepless“ that we took on a tour through Germany. Along with it, we put out a few videos, all very
different from each other. After a short moment of the inevitable after-tour-depression, I’m working on new plans and material, mainly for
next year, while focussing on a theaterplay I’m doing. It’s „Momo“, based on a german childen’s book, so I’m looking forward to the
inspiration I will viciously drain from the kids (-:
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside
Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
Actually I do know someone believing his sister is mary, mother of god. I’m not sure whether I’d really wished it was true, but it could be
helpful for sure to have a good connection there…
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Oh, Ill kind of have to pass on this one. Not good at styles or brands. Maybe just the best you find in a second hand store. Hm, that sounds
kind of wrong…
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
When I started tinie creatures, I wanted the lyrics to to be a mixture of personal thoughts and topics and almost enchanted tales, since in the
beginning I was also all by myself and musically focussed on mainly calm and atmospheric tunes. As the project grew a bit and I started gather
people around me to join me on stage and in my work, the music got a wider range. On „sleepless“ social topics such as migration and war go
hand in hand with the emotional work, because first, the political world is a part of the personal world and second, well, it does keep you awake
at night and that’s what this record is about!
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I do work as an actor, too, so I do hope there is at least a little bit of talent there, otherwise I have a problem.
Other than that I’m doing my best to try to propperly read the room and the situation people are in.
Also – attempting to look cool, then doing something real stupid, looking up and realising that people were watching that exact moment –
that I’m relally good at!.
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
– Always trying to find new ways to tell a story.
– Trying to take seriously what I do, not myself too much
– How ever big the audience is, always giving 120 %
– Crewlove
– If I don’t care about it, I don’t have to do it…
8. The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??
I am blessed with having amazing people around, in my personal life as well as in my work.
As for tinie creatures it is certainly my friend Freda, beeing a part of the live-music-crew as well as a brain of the operation and as such a
constantly supportive partner in crime.
9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
Would you rather fight a giant duck or a hundred sharp toothed horses?
Definitely the duck, I find the image of a clearly graspable big enemy rather soothing compared to the challenge of a huge number of annoying
little threats.
Yes, this is a metaphor. I guess. (-:
