Theo Adler – EP ‚Revealer‘ + Exclusive Interview

Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

I’d recommend they drink green tea as a relaxing way of enjoying my EP. However I’m shamefully an energy drink lover. Your call.

Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

New songs are coming 2024 and videos on the way from the Revealer project still to come! I’m playing gigs on 7th Dec, Jan 4th and Feb 1st currently!

We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

Great question. I’d say Pyramid Power! Nikola Tesla believed it apparently.

What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

My style is my style whether it’s clothes or music. Can’t say I’ve had too many conscious inspirations in the fashion department and so I’m going to gatekeep the hell out of it.

Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

With this first project I wanted to set a bit of a scene referencing things and situations I grew up on. My songs are all a little bit open to interpretation.

Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I’ve been told I’m a good driver (which I think is generous). I also love playing chess but yet to receive a compliment there.

Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

My middle name is Boty – after Pauline Boty the pop artist’s daughter Boty Goodwin. When I was 11 I was nominated for a children’s BAFTA after making a video about our dog travelling around London with my brother called “Oscar’s Big Adventure” although not invited to the ceremony so saw a Ben Folds gig the same night instead. My favourite food is Asian. I’m extremely colourblind. I did a degree Goldsmiths University of London in Popular Music Performance.

How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

I took piano lessons as a kid from about five. When I was around 7-8 I was using Sibelius software to export MIDI files of the sheet music I had written out. After converting the MIDI to mp3 files as backing tracks I’d sing over those. Later on I learned the guitar as a teenager. Many many songs later here we are.

A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

Will you come play in our local town? “I’d love to, just reach out!” is my answer.
