Stun – „Indigenous“ + Exclusive Interview

1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

That’s a great question, and something i’ve never been asked before. I’d say grab yourself a nice cold pepsi flavoured slushy.

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

I’m releasing a new song and possibly a new video before the launch of the Album. Sometime this summer.

3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

I would say the Illuminati. Just because of the amount of interest they’ve gotten over the years. Me and my friends talked about this in highschool and we were just blown away at the time. Unless they really do exist…….

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

Depends on the music you’re listening to. If you’re on my indigenous side, then I’d say some great picks from Section 35. And if you’re on my emotional side, a plain black tee with a 30 inch gold chain, complimented with skinny faded blue jeans and black suede Chelsea boots.

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

I like to write about my thoughts on feelings, issues and my culture. If its something that makes me feel good, then I run with it. With hopes of it resonating with someone. My topics are usually based off what was happening with me that day. If i was hype about something, most definitely i’ll be applying it into my lyrics with a thoughtful message input into it.

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I use to breakdance when I was in highschool. I also dance my traditional culture which is known as a grass dancer.

7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

  1. I create all my own instrumentals which sets the pace for my entire writing process.
  2. I mix all my songs from top to bottom.
  3. I even do all my own artwork. I’ll come up with a simple idea and start adding on to it until it is complete.
  4. I practise my live performances everyday for a week until the big day.
  5. I’m very self sufficient when it comes to music. I literally don’t wait on no ones help. If they want some piece of the pie, i’ll give em, but if they don’t want to contribute time the way I do, then theres no point.

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

It all started in a basement at my old friends place. He taught me how to create instrumentals with a digital audio workstation called fruity loops. I then started to write lyrics as this process happened. And over time, I got better and better, at both. Later that year, I started recording my own music. And kept at it ever since. I must have been around 16, and I still love creating a good instrumental to this day. I thank my brotha mitch, “Byg Guy” for opening that door for me.

9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

Do you have kids? Yes I do, alot of them lol
