Streichelt – „Eines Tages“ + Exclusive Interview

Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

Vodka Soda! Why? Cause it’s my favourite strong drink and the song needs a strong one I guess.

Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

The new single is actually already done and on it’s way! Album maybe next year with a tour, loads of videos to come also 🙂

We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

Tough one, I go with the Avril Lavigne is already dead and was replaced by a doubleganger theory. Not because I wish Avril was dead, but it would just be such an absurdly weird story to be true. And I like weird.

What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

I actually don’t know much about fashion. My girlfriend is a tailor and fashion designer and she dresses me for the stage with her self made clothes. So it would be her brand, but she doesn’t have one. So let’s say self made fashion out of second hand 80’s pieces.

Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

Oh, Messages always. Some obvious, some hard to find. But I don’t really want to spell them out, cause everybody should be free to interpret. Topics are the classics like love, beeing in love, freedom, or things like self perception, change and problems between people. Let’s see what’s next.

Beside music, do you have any special talents?

Well there are a lot of things I can do well, but not great, so I don’t know if they are talents. Mostly not, maybe just a side effect of living and doing all sorts of stuff so by time I just learned how to do it. My weird talent is that I can do a bellywave. I can’t show you right now but you can ask me to do it if you meet me live 😀

Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

I like to change and develop the music style of my songs a lot so it doesn’t get boring, so who knows how I will sound in a year? Was that 5 things? I don’t know more.

How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

Classic learning by doing. Never had professional instructions or so. Started guitar with 14, singing and writing with 16 maybe, producing with 19. Youtube has been my teacher 🙂

A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

„Was this a good interview?“ – Yes, nice questions, not just the typical stuff! Thank you!
