SEBASTIAN WURTH – „Kapitel 1“ + Exclusive Interview

Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

Hey hey, thanks for having me! I think I would start with a gin and tonic. It always fits, makes a good mood and every gin is different in its combination, full of facets.

Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

My latest single „Besser dran allein“ is out since 31.03. and I went just recently on tour! I’m currently experiencing a totally exciting phase with new songs, music videos and much more. Feel free to check out my social media channels for that – you’ll always stay up to date! 🙂

We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

2Pac is still alive!

What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

Whew, not easy! I think something like this: oversized t-shirt with relaxed cargo pants and a nice pair of sneakers, like Nike or New Balance. Brands like Daily Paper, Arte Antwerp!

Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

My songs are very personal. Each song describes a situation or topic in my life. From my new beginning in „Kapitel 1“ or the time after a breakup in „Besser dran allein“. I wrote songs about my brother, mental health and finding balance in life. It’s important to me to give people something to think about, but still find enjoyment and easiness in my music.

Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I can prepare excellent breakfast! Also, I think you can spend good party nights with me haha and in my next life I will become good physiotherapist. I’m telling you!

Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

– I love to play live and I really want to go on tour again.

– I would love to have a rap feature, e.g. with MoTrip

– I am a songwriter for others and love to express my creativity in other genres.

– 100% of me is in my music: from the creation of the song, to the music video and my social media channels.

– I hope that people can identify with my songs

How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

My dad is a jazz musician and taught me to play the trumpet at an early age. But when I realized I loved singing so much, I switched to bass and then guitar. I never really had singing lessons and have taught myself some piano via YouTube in the last few years. 🙂

A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

If you could repeat one day from your life, what would it be and why?

04.03.2023. Final concert of my tour in Cologne. I woke up with a fever of 39 degrees and spent the day worrying if I would make it on stage. But this evening – it has been incredible. All my friends, my family, all the fans
