Sculpture Garden – FRAMA introduces two new hand care scents

An immersive window into self care, Sculpture Garden introduces two new hand care fragrances and their spatial identities: Escalier and Columnae. Using a sculptor’s process as a parallel to the journey of these two scents, we visit the past in the confident, grounded Columnae, and future through the bright, spiced Escalier. A balance of opposites bringing spatial context to everyday rituals.

Scent is viscerally tied to memory, and Columnae and Escalier offer a dialogue between two distinct connections. Columnae offers a strong confidence that calls to mind the certainty of a storied structure in stone. Vetiver, black pepper, bitter orange, and tuya suggest the muskiness of well-preserved pages and histories. Floral notes bring a grace to the experience as the tactile product reaches your hands.

Escalier, Columnae’s counterpart, is an open-ended connection. Carrot seed, cardamom, vetiver, and blood orange suggest new ideas and the essence of ascent. When the scent’s bright, exotic notes arrive at the nose through hand wash or hand cream, spiced aromas define the space around you with an indulgent comfort that reassures and inspires.

The balance of these two scents brings a spatial context to everyday rituals.Through Sculpture Garden, the tactile experience of washing one’s hands brings to mind the touch of materials like chalk, stone, and clay that build monumental structures from humble beginnings. FRAMA’s approach to self care is both spatial and tactile, and the introduction of Sculpture Garden aromas incorporates further architectural context into the FRAMA scent universe. At home on a contemporary countertop for daily use, these expressions bring memories and dreams of all scales into everyday routine—existing “to give meaning to the space” of any interior.

The background to this launch is the introduction of St. Pauls Apothecary Collection, a line of skincare and scent products inspired by St. Pauls Apotek, a historic wood-lined pharmacy in central Copenhagen first established in 1878. In 2022, FRAMA introduced Herbarium, a profile that embodies the calming essence of wild flora.
