Salvatore Ferragamo celebrates Valentine’s Day with a capsule collection that revolves around bold shades of pink and red, vivacious hues of Candy Apple, Flamingo Pink and Nail Polish Red, plus print that takes inspiration from the exquisite Ferragamo scarf archive.
This print runs through the entire Valentine’s collection and sees two archive designs from the 90s join vertical forces as the star of the show in its selection of silk scarves and bandeau scarves and in its ready-to- wear womenswear. Abstract decoration brings these iconic prints together, with their floral tulip detail and a nod to the east from the birds, and the result is a fabulous fusion of designs that creates a pattern like no other, bursting with colour and intensity and unquestionably romantic.
For women, the capsule includes a leather Vara cross-body bag with front flap and a leather Vara tote, both with archive print and a Ferragamo bow grosgrain bucket. A phone case and continental wallet also come in the same shades and with Vara bow. The Candy Apple shade, meanwhile, has been applied to the Vara cross- body bag, mini wallet and a whimsically romantic, heart-shaped keyring.
Footwear features a three-way colour block of Candy Apple, White and Flamingo Pink, as seen on the moccasin with double Gancini buckle and the chunky-heeled sandal. The Vara comes in quilted nappa, while the low slipper with Gancini buckle, the sneaker and the Varina ballet flat feature heritage print.
Jewellery is all about gold and includes a ring, asymmetrical earrings, a bracelet and a charm necklace with Ferragamo lettering and stunning rhinestones.
In men’s accessories, the Gancini pattern steals the show and brings contemporary appeal with its rubber- effect, leather-embossed design and three-dimensional texture. It can be found on bags and in a characterful leather collection of mini and medium shoulder bags and pouches featuring Candy Apple edging that elevates the black Gancini pattern. The same design has also been applied to a wallet, card case and keyring.
The Candy Apple-black pairing takes centre stage in footwear too, with slip-on sneakers in these shades. There are also belts with iconic double Gancini buckle in the same colours.
Men’s jewellery meanwhile showcases shades of orange, with leather bracelets featuring a stunning silver- effect Gancini clasp.
In men’s silk accessories, a stylish collection of ties sees quirky little bears placed within a Gancini outline and interspersed with hearts.
