Raphaël and I have worked together several times already. Each shooting was an opportunity to explore different themes and settings. Let us share with you our latest work.
The guiding line was to picture a scene reminiscing of advertisements for male perfumes and cosmetics. With this goal in mind, we chose to stay at the Too Hotel. It is the latest MGallery, at the highest floors of La Tour Duo, built by Jean Nouvel.
Glass, metal and wood blend together to create a modern and contemporary interior design (Philippe Starck). On the other hand, pastel colors set a soothing atmosphere.
The resulting contrast was ideal to highlight a masculine figure.
Even if the goal was clear, we purposedly hid any brand of perfume or cosmetics, to allow a broader use of the photos.
The shooting took place without any make up, using natural light only.
With these few conditions, we let ourselves freely find inspiration, navigating through the hotel room.
