PRETTY YOUNG – „Out Of The Blue“ + Exclusive Interview

Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

Tequila is always good choice to get the night started haha.

Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

The first single of my upcoming EP is out now, it is called Out Of The Blue. It’s all about how life surprises us out of nowhere. Just think, no one expected COVID-19 and look at how much it has changed our lives. Now that we are slowly returning to normal, we should make the most of our freedom and once again go out and let life amaze us.

The second single the EP is a collaboration with an artist we all have heard before. It’ll be out on June 10th!  I’m sooo excited for that one.. it’s such a summer bop.

In the meantime, I also did a remix on Lexi Jayde’s TikTok hit: ‘drunk text me’, and Felix Cartal’s ‘Nothing Good Comes Easy’. And way more is coming up soon!

Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

I love cooking.

I love gaming, World of Warcraft is something that I’m still holding on to til this day.

I live in Stockholm, born in the south part of Stockholm and raised on the countryside part of the city. It’s a benefit to be swedish and live here, since there’s so many great songwriters and people to work with.

I’m a producer, not a singer haha

I often start and finish my production ideas within a day.

What fashion style or brand would best describe your music

That’s a hard one. I’m a big fan of Axel Arigato, a swedish shoes and clothing brand. I think it fits because it’s expensive wink wink.

Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

My inspiration can come anywhere from just a synth sound, a movie, a melody or other songs.

I love to visualize while producing, like creating music videos in your head while you’re listening.

Or even put a movie in the background can do wonders for your inspiration.

Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I’d say that I’m a good cooker. I’ve always loved food. Italian is my favorite at the moment, but I make a lot of Korean food as well. Spaghetti Bolognese is probably my favorite though – if done properly.

7. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

I taught everything myself. I watched a lot of youtube tutorials as well – those helped me to understand the basics of producing. From there, I just tried and tried until it started to sound alright.

8. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?!

How does it feel when you have finished a new demo?

That’s one of the most rewarding things for me, right after you have made something new and fresh. You get a little kick and you can stop listeningen to the song you just created from out of the blue.
