1. How did you get into modeling?
Lots of opportunities have opened up to me since winning Mr Gay Great Britain in the summer of 2023. Such as working with great photographers. I’m enjoying these new opportunities and I look forward to many more.
2. What are you doing if you are not modeling?
I am a nurse that works with trans young people. I’m also a busy dad to two sons. I enjoy road cycling and hitting the gym. Working out is my ‘me time’ and I can’t function without having it in my life. I really believe in exercise helping mental health. 3. The most spontaneous/difficult/strange thing you’ve ever done?
Entering the Mr Gay Great Britain contest was a spontaneous decision at the time but one that proved to be worth it. The competition has changed my life. It’s a great platform to help me spread the word on being a good trans ally. The trans community is facing such hostile negativity in the world and its root cause is incorrect, uneducated, negative narratives being spun by the media and politicians. We’ve been here before with gay rights and we must all as a community come together to support the trans community.
4. What’s your life motto?
I lost my mum at a young age to cancer and it’s really me adopt the ‘you only live once’ motto. We are here for a good time not a long time so we should grab life by the balls and experience everything that’s on offer to us.
5. Describe your personal style – Favorite Brands/Fragrance?!
My favorite fragrance is Channel Sport for evening wear and Issey Mayeke for my day wear. Both scents have been a favorite of mine for a while now.
I like a clean cut look of trousers and a crisp white shirt but I’m often in gym wear.
6. What genre of music best describes you?
90s/early noughties dance/house with some female pop thrown in
7. Where are your roots – The best thing about/to do in your hometown?
I moved from a small town in Northumberland to the city of Leeds 24 years ago. Being gay at that time was difficult in a small town so I knew I had to truly be myself in a vibrant city. I love city life and Leeds has a lot to offer. However, I have a soft spot for my home town and enjoy visiting family there often.
8. Name one celebrity you’d like to get naughty with!
Jamie Dornan! I have a soft spot for a beard.
9. Do you have any special Talents?
Well, being a nurse I could save your life, does that count? I’d say it’s a pretty special talent
10. What is the most interesting thing online at the moment?
AI – ChatGPT. I think AI, if not already, will change how we all work and study. And of course, my instagram! Follow me as I compete for the title of Mr Gay World 2024.
