PALM ANGELS opens its first flagship store in Paris

In the beginning was Fall-Winter 2023 show, presented in March at Paris Women’s Fashion Week. When the models hit the runway, it was clear that their steps were just the first walked in the Ville Lumiere by Palm Angels. The reference to an address in the 1st Arrondissement shown on T-shirts or on hoodies set the allusion for a more permanent stay in the fashion capital for the brand.

Two months later, the first Palm Angels Paris flagship store welcomes its guests to a venue that will elevate the standards of fashion retail. Inspired by classical themes that follow each other without interruption with the brand’s creative and disruptive language, where bourgeois codes have been reshuffled into a powerful and magnified streetwear, the projected space designed by Studio Henry encapsulates the ethos and aesthetics of Palm Angels in an unreleased architectural frame.

Located in Rue Saint-Honoré 217, a nonplus ultra of Parisian spirit, the store has been designed to reflect the French R-evolution of Palm Angels: the combination of seemingly contrasting dualities, the raw and the refined, the free and the convectional, which mingle to reach a high-impact synthesis offering an immersive one-of-a-kind experience.

The fluid spaces, which allow free exploration, house a lounge, a botanical corner, created in collaboration with This Humid House, and a retail space without boundaries or predefined pathways, under the banner of the freedom to discover and feel the energy emanating by the collision of styles and materials in an unprecedented context, culminating in the central all-marble staircase inspired by the monumental le grand escalier of the Opera Garnier.

The reference to skate park ramps, rough finishes, and white neon grid evoking the lighting of the outdoor space dialogue with impeccable boiserie, wallpapers with palm motifs, velvets, and fuchsia metallic elements. In a coherent though unconventional way, the French inflection added to the sharp easiness of Palm Angels collections, men, women, accessories, and kids, finds in Rue Saint-Honoré its natural setting to engage its community in a multifaceted, cross-cultural discourse, leaving room for further contamination.

This Humid House will actively participate in the conversation, offering a selection of exuberant floral arrangements, plants and vessels selected by the botanical design studio in a visually delightful installation that feeds Palm Angels’ deep wonder and admiration for nature.
