1. Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!
My name is Osvaldas Petrokas, I’m a 22 year old music producer and musician from Lithuania.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
My new single – Trabajar – is already out on all platforms. Also I have prepared a new piece, which should come out in the second half of this summer, and I’m working on more:)
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
1st – I am really sensitive in general, especially to music, ever since I was born.
2nd – I am a 5th year medical student, with 2 years left until I get my degree as a MD.
3rd – I finished 12 years of music school. I played the violin and the piano, still do to this day:)
4th – I’m really self-conscious about my songs and usually a perfectionist, when it comes to creating music, sometimes I discard finished projects, simply because they don’t grow on me individually or because I’m too scared that they won’t meet my expectations of success after they’re out there in the music world.
5th – I couldn’t say that I specialize in one specific type of music, I usually create something that I personally come to like, so there should be a lot of diversity in each track of mine.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Something modest, semi – formal or casual, something you spend warm summer evenings with, with some high end sneakers would be the style of my music and mine personally:)
5. Do you have bad habits? A guilty pleasure you can’t seem to quit?
Probably being perfectionistic, as I mentioned before, or overthinking every little thing. It’s a habit, that I tend to abuse and that has been keeping me down through the years. As for guilty pleasures, the first things on the list would be Netflix or computer games, especially Overwatch – carrying the balance between work and fun:)
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
Music is the biggest part of my life: apart from playing a lot of instruments and creating music, I couldn’t say I have plenty of other special talents. If mentioning some of the funnier ones – I can do some accurate voice impressions of people, animals and nature sounds; I can jump with a pogo stick and do some tricks; also I’m a good listener, which some people consider a talent:)
7. Being on stage feels like….!
Being born again, emotionally. I’ve never played my music in a club, or in some kind of a festival, but I’ve had my share of stage fright and excitement in my music school days, when I participated in recitals, string instrument contests, concerts, even live TV, playing the violin. After the performance, when you hear the applause, it truly feels like your emotions and personal ego resets, it’s an interesting experience for me everytime.
8. Must Have – and No-Go in your Wardrobe! – Favorite Fashion Brand and Fragrance?
I am a sneaker person, I especially like nike or adidas ones, have a few in my inventory. Don’t have a favourite brand of clothing or such, just wearing anything, that looks just a tad bit good on me, and that looks good to my eye, that goes for all different dressing occasions.:) My favorite fragrance – I guess the one that I’ve been using the most: „Aventus: Creed“
9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?!
I’ve never been asked about my family – I have a sister, loving parents and grandparents, which support me in what I do, I am grateful for them.
