noelle – „Cold Killer“ + Exclusive Interview

1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?

I would love for everyone to have a nice glass of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon to be specific) paired with some old cheddar cheese… if you know, you know.

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?

It’s a crazy time. My new 80’s inspired single called „Cold Killer“ just came out two weeks ago and I can’t believe all the love it is getting. Make sure to go watch the video!  I’m also heading out on my first cross-country tour with some incredible artists! I’ll be announcing who it is soon…stay tuned!

3. We live in a time of many conspiracy theories. Which (harmless) theory do you wish was true? (For example: dinosaurs living on Earth, E.T. living in a home in California).

I wish dragons were real. I watch Avatar and see the blue people flying on their dragons and wish I had my own personal dragon to fly through the sky on.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

80’s glam urban chic.

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics? Message?

I love writing about love. It’s such an intense emotion. I want my past experiences and heartbreaks to come through in my songs so that anyone experiencing the same things can relate and know they’re not alone.

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

My special talents include baking, making boujee cocktails, drinking copious amounts of tea, eating popcorn, and annoying everyone by constantly humming. 🙂

7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?

  • I LOVE writing sad songs
  • A few of my biggest influences are Lewis Capaldi, Bruno Mars, and Daniel Caesar
  • I like to add a sprinkle of jazz into my songs
  • I will attempt to make you cry if you come to my show
  • I love the old Hollywood glam aesthetic and am always trying to find a way to modernize vintage things, from songs to photographs to artwork

8. How did you learn to sing/to write/to play?

I’ve been singing since I could speak. My parents both love to sing so it happened very naturally. I had my first heartbreak in high school and started to write songs about it when I was 15. I asked my mom to help me with the chords, so she taught me how to play the piano. I’ve never stopped writing and am so thankful to have it as an outlet for all of my emotions.

9. What is a question you’d like to answer but have never been asked in an interview before? Please include the question and your answer for it.

What is a song you wish was yours / you wrote?

„Glimpse Of Us“ by Joji. That song is soooooo beautifully written and so relatable.
