Vegan leather jacket perfume

An earthy and smoky scent that envelops you and takes you on a journey. The grounding, woody notes of this vegan perfume are reminiscent of the warmth of a well-worn leather jacket, making it a special treat for vegans. Rich, complex and let’s face it, sexy.

Lush co-founder and in-house perfumer Mark Constantine was inspired by a line from the song “Gunga Din” by The Byrds for this fragrance: “Have breakfast with me mamma, I hope they’ll let us in, I’ve got a leather jacket on, I know that it’s a sin”. This line of text made him think that, as a vegetarian company, many of Lush’s employees and customers don’t wear real leather. This is how the leather-like, 100% vegan scent with clove, tonka bean and tobacco extract was created.

„Vegan Leather Jacket is probably Lush’s greatest work since ‚Breath of God‘ and a masterpiece for the ages“ – Luca Turin, perfume critic and co-author of ‚Perfumes: An A-Z Guide‘ and ‚Perfumes: The Guide‘.
