MR PORTER – AL FRESCO – 2ND CHAPTER OF SUMMER STORIES

MR PORTER is pleased to announce the arrival of Al Fresco, a curated edit of resort product and exclusive collections celebrating Italian summer style and craftsmanship.

Debuting on MR PORTER from June 19, Al Fresco is the second chapter in the MR PORTER Summer Stories campaign and explores the Italian culture of style, food, travel and family traditions throughout the summer months. Taking inspiration from vintage resort wear, the selection features product from 22 leading brands including exclusive edits from 18 designers. Brands include Anderson’s, Giorgio Armani, Barena, Brioni, Brunello Cucinelli, Caruso, C.P. Company, De Petrillo, Etro, Kiton, Loro Piana, Massimo Alba, Officine Creative, Persol, Piacenza Cashmere, R+D.LAB, SSAM, Tod’s and Zegna.

Highlights include a 28-piece casualwear collection from Zegna, featuring soft prints and pastel stripes across trousers, casual shirts, shorts, t-shirts and swimwear. MR PORTER is the exclusive retailer for this collection as well as a nine-piece bright beachwear range from Etro. Furthermore, a 20-piece exclusive tailoring and casualwear collection is available from Brioni, with pieces inspired by different locations across Italy alongside exclusive capsule collections from Loro Piana, Barena and Brunello Cucinelli, offering ready-to-wear pieces perfect for sun-drenched leisurely lunches on the Adriatic. Each collection offers relaxed silhouettes in light fabrications of linen and seersucker in a soft pastel colour palette. Pops of colour and Hawaiian prints are also available through exclusive beachwear styles from Massimo Alba and C.P. Company.

Within this chapter, MR PORTER will also introduce three new brands to site including Federico Curradi, one of Tuscany’s finest designers, which debuts with an exclusive nine-piece ready-to-wear collection; heritage Florentine label Loretta Caponi; and lifestyle brand Green Wolf Lighting, which offer handmade portable glass table lights.
