For a brand with a stack of heritage which includes a roll call of names like Cruyff, Maradona, Pep and Laudrup whilst supplying no less than F.C Barcelona for ten years they sure don’t rest on their laurels but look to the future. With the grandiose aim of becoming the most switched on football teamwear supplier out there Meyba are pushing at the boundaries of what a football brand actually is in this brave new world of fashion, street wear and football fusion. So whilst actively signing professional clubs, the Catalan brand actually want to explore what your once shoddy club shop could look like, and so aim to work with brands and cool people from outside the usual bland remit of most football clubs and indeed suppliers. This exploration has seen them this time hook up with the coolest Skate brand in France, Rave Skateboards. Rave have brought the je ne sais quoi of the French, thrown in the couldn’t care less feel of skaters world wide and ripped up the rule book creating a bold tie dye effect Rave club kit. Finished with a Medusas head logo and Rave as sponsors, this collaboration could be where pro football clubs head next, in fact, if Rave and Meyba have their way we might hopefully see this on a professional football field sooner than later.
