1. How did you get into modeling?

I found my way into the modeling world with my wife. We met in school in 2014 and shortly after she started freelance modeling. Over the years she flourished and I was the trusty assistant. It was a great time with lots of fond memories. Then, photographers started requesting couples and elopement style shoots as advertisements with Natalea and I. We were able to shoot at so many beautiful Oregon places like Haystack Rock, Heceta Head, Hug Point and the Alvord Desert, and work with so many wonderful designers and photographers.

For a long time I have been interested in modeling clothes, or even acting, so I started pursuing local agencies. Then In 2021 after not having any modeling agencies, I decided to start freelance modeling, and incorporating my yoga lifestyle. Right from the start I got to work with my favorite photographers in Oregon and was so amazed at the positive feedback I received from viewers, family and friends.

So far my modeling has mostly focused on minimalist body figure in nature and in the studio. I love to push the limits and try to do unique poses that helps create a story with the photographer. I’m very excited to continue creating awesome images, and hope in the future I can sign with an agency that could help me pursue bigger projects. I would love to travel and model in other beautiful countries across the world.

2. What are you doing if you are not modeling?

When I’m not modeling I try to do what makes me happy and healthy. We love going to new restaurants and trying new things, or staying home and making tasty meals. At home I also spend a lot of time practicing yoga, reading and writing. I love fiction novels and philosophy books, and I just as much love to write about the same things. To get in a positive mindset and to take care of my mental and physical health I practice my own version of at home yoga at least thirty minutes a day.

Living in Oregon, a state filled with awesome farmers markets and amazing hikes just a short drive away. I stay pretty busy trying to eat good food and experience the natural world around me. I go on hikes all the time with my wife Natalea and our dog Blue. We are always able to spice it up by going to the coast, the desert, or staying locally in the valley and mountains where there are lots of waterfall hikes. We also love going on trips with our friends. During the summer time we do quite a bit of camping and backpacking. Then at the end of the day we love getting together with our family at a good pizza restaurant or at somebody’s house for a cookout.

3. The most spontaneous/difficult/strange thing you’ve ever done?

Wow, it’s difficult to say. My life has been filled with lots of crazy encounters, both good and bad. But I think one of the most spontaneous things I have done were due to Covid in 2020.

Originally, our Wedding was planned two years in advance at a beautiful venue in Portland. Unfortunately, Covid had other plans, and forced us to postpone a big wedding with all our friends and family. But, wanting to save the date of 4/20/20, we continued with a small wedding in our backyard, and rescheduled with the venue to have it whenever Covid cleared up, which was two years later.

That was pretty spontaneous, but what I think was super cool about it was how we did our honeymoon, which was supposed to have been a road trip around the west coast. So, due to everything being closed down, we decided to stay in Oregon and explore all the abandoned places across the state.

We mapped out all the abandoned places and filled in the gaps with hot springs, waterfalls and hikes. We explored deserted towns lost to time, ancient landmarks caused by volcanoes and glaciers, and even visited the town where the movie The Goonies is filmed. We did this all in three days.

In total over those three days we drove 23 hours and traveled over 1000 miles. We camped one night and stayed at hotels the rest. It was one of the most special and exciting experiences I can think of.

4. What’s your life motto?

Seek out happiness and happiness will find you.

5. Describe your personal style – Favorite Brands/Fragrance?!

My wife is an excellent stylist so I mostly have her to help me pick out my outfits. Especially since I’m color blind it can be challenging to match clothes, so she is super helpful with that.

When it comes to fragrances I love anything with warm and earthy tones.

6. What genre of music best describes you?

I’d say that Folk would be the best genre to describe me. I love connecting with a good song with a deep meaning that has string instruments and unique voices. Some of my favorite right now are Josh O’keefe, AnnenMayKantereit, Lost Dog Street Band and Sierra Ferrell.

7. Where are your roots – The best thing about/to do in your hometown?

Eugene, Oregon is where I have lived my whole life and I love my city. We have a flourishing culture of people who care about being happy and healthy, while being conscious about the natural world around us. We have yoga studios, natural activity areas, habitat conservation areas, health food stores and farmers markets all over the place.

8. Name one celebrity you’d like to get naughty with!

Ohhh I definitely have had a crush on Aubrey Plaza ever since I saw her in Safety Not Guaranteed in 2012.

9. Do you have any special Talents?

I’d say that I have the talent to entertain. Whenever I’m with a group of people I always end up saying or doing something that has people interested. It probably started when I was a kid playing sports or skateboarding. There is just this awesome feeling I get when I do something that makes people cheer, clap, laugh or smile. It brings me a lot of joy making other people happy.

10. What is the most interesting thing online at the moment?

I’d say the most interesting thing online for me right now is Tiktok. I know it is under a lot of controversy, but I honestly get so many awesome construction, gardening and healthy living tips from it. Working in construction, every little tip to make life easier is great. That being said, I seem to pick up some of my most useful tips from other users.
