Tell me a bit about yourself?
Hi, my name is DJ Delaney (I’m not a DJ, that’s is just my name). I am a fashion designer from Manchester, this is my first solo project. I am the designer, the photographer, run the social media and everything else on my own. I guess you could say, I’m a one man band!
I still have my current brand, Snowy Owl, that is now 7 years old but I want to do something diffident creatively. A whole different vibe.
The name ‘An Uninspirational Life’ came from a daydream when I realised we all live an uninspirational life, some may say that I am a pessimist but I would say I am a realist with a dry sense on humour.

The logo was inspired when I took a holiday trip to Croatia last summer, I was walking through a park when I saw a smiley face looking sad graffitied on a bin, it resonated with me, I didn’t know why at the time but now it is the inspiration for the new brand.
Drop?
I did an Instagram poll and let my audience decide what they wanted to see for the first drop. They voted for a hoodie so I designed a brown oversized hoodie with puff printing in two colours. Print on the front back and sleeve. The fit is oversized, the hoodie is fleece lined and 600 GSM. The drop is exclusive to members only so make sure you are signed up to gain access to the drop. The original drop is a hoodie but there will be more to come.
