Lunar New Year 2024: the Lush collection

In keeping with the Year of the Dragon, the Inner Dragon Bath Bomb, the Blooming Dragon Gift and the zero-waste gift wrap, the Wild Spirits Knot Wrap, are inspired by dragons to welcome a year of confidence and prosperity. Lunar New Year is one of the largest festivals in Asia, celebrating the beginning of the new year according to the traditional lunar calendar with family gatherings.

Inner Dragon Bath bomb

In Chinese folklore, dragons are usually depicted with a pearl in their claw or mouth, representing divinity and prosperity, and this New Year’s dragon holds the Lush bath bomb like a „pearl.“ The ginger powder warms you, while the light citrus scent gets you going.

Wild Spirit Knot Wrap, 50cm x 50cm

The new Wild Spirit Knot Wrap features a majestic dragon roaming among blossoms, embodying the untamed energy of the Lunar New Year. The Knot Wrap was also designed by designer Bao Ho.

“In some Chinese fairy tales, the dragon is the king of the sea who controls the rain and water. He brings rain to the people and the land. It gives life and helps plants grow. To me, they are like guardians of nature.” – Bao Ho, designer of Lunar New Year Gifts and Knot Wraps.

The Knot Wrap, a reusable gift wrap, is made from 100% organic cotton and handcrafted by the artisans of Re-Wrap, a social enterprise in India committed to environmental and social change. It is perfect for packaging individual products such as bath bombs and can be used over and over again for packaging, carrying or gifting.

Blooming Dragon Gift

The Blooming Dragon gift in a handy format is suitable for all Lunar New Year recipients with a bath and a shower product. It contains the Inner Dragon bath bomb and the exclusive Celebrate shower gel, which spices up the New Year with lime and sweet wild orange.

The gift boxes were designed by Hong Kong designer Bao Ho, who was born and lives in Hong Kong. She is a self-taught artist who especially loves freestyle work with murals and illustrations. She started her career in 2015 and has since worked with various brands.

This wrapping paper design is her depiction of dragons in Chinese fairy tales, printed on 100% recycled paper. The inner box is made from 100% recycled cardboard filled with biodegradable Eko-Flo (produced from cornstarch) to keep products safe.
