Lisa Pac – „Bedroom“ + Exclusive Interview

Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

Prosecco! With lots of ice in it!

If you don’t feel like getting tipsy, I highly recommended Soda with with lemon, basil and a tiny bit of cinnamon on top! Sounds weird but you gotta try it!!

Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

This year I will be performing at the Frequency Festival (18.9.2022) which is actually a huge milestone for me because I always used to go there to check out my favourite bands a few years ago and now I get to play there myself, feels unreal!

Also there‘s a loooot of new music to look forward to, I am releasing an EP this autumn.

We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

I would love it if there was life out there, like in the universe. Actually I believe there is some sort of human like species on another planet far away. I mean it can’t be true that we‘re the only ones in this universe. They might even have crazy technology and are watching us right now, who knows ?!

What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

Ottolinger! Creative and unique shapes but also playful in a way! I can‘t get enough of it.

Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

I write about personal issues, almost like I’m quoting my diary. It’s quite therapeutic in a way.

But I also want to make people feel something with my music, I wanna trigger that feeling you get in your stomach when you hear a really good powerful song. I want people to dance, to cry, to scream from the top of their lungs when they listen to my music or go to one of my shows!

Beside music, do you have any special talents?

Yoga has been my biggest passion next to music for the past 2 years, also it made me weirdly strong! I can hold shapes now that I couldn’t even get into years ago! It really helps me feel good, strong and confident in my body.

I also love painting but I’m not very good at it!

Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

I am a classical trained pianist

started producing my own music before working with other producers / songwriters

I hate making music in an uneven BPM number

I moved to london to „make it“ in the music industry and left to find out you only make it when you‘re happy and confident with yourself and your art. Doesn’t matter where you are in the world.

I believe that my songs deliver the energy of the moment I was in when I recorded the vocals for the song, so I always make sure I’m in the right mood for every recording session.

How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

Music was always around when I grew up, my dad‘s a musician and I started performing at  school events at the age of 6 so it has kind of always been clear to me that I wanted to do something with music when I‘m older.

I started taking some singing lessons and later went to London to study songwriting & vocals.

There’s not really a right or wrong when it comes to songwriting, I always go with my gut and I think over time you just get better without even noticing it.

A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

How did it feel when you found out you had been nominated in 2 categories at the Grammy Awards?
