Hi, my name is Lejo. Born and raised in the beautiful city of Hamburg. I write songs, record them and play them on stage 🙂
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
- Most of my song ideas are written right before i go to bed
- There’s always music playing in my head, which is why I am never bored
- When I’m on stage I am always trying to give my ultimate best. I can’t play halfheartedly.
- I´ve never had a Guitar or Singing Lesson in my life
- I love to combine oldschool, funky tunes with a touch of modern pop and playful lyrics
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I think I’m trying to be a suit. With a classic cut. But with some modern accessories (colored socks, jewelry, maybe messed up hair).
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
Most of the time I end up writing about love, or about times where I’m not doing well. Having too many questions, or the feeling that you haven´t found your place in this chaos yet. I think, even if I ever write a summer hit, there will be some sort of melancholy in it.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
Hm. I can eat a lot of hot chillies. If that’s a talent… and I am a pretty talented overthinker. But seriously I am actually pretty good at cooking a great meal out of leftovers.
7. Being on stage feels like….!
Hell for two Songs, Heaven for 10 Songs (or for however long the Show goes on).
When I let go of my stage fright, I have the best time of my life. I love the feeling, when you look into the face of a band member while playing and you two just start smiling.
8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
Since I didn’t have any guitar lessons, I just tried to play along songs I liked as a Teenager. Mostly John Mayer Songs…i googled how to play some chords and started to sing along.
I don´t know if I have already learned to write songs – my experience says one for the Album, two for the trash can…
I think there are thousands of people who have a beautiful singing voices but never have gotten in touch with it. You should sing a little bit every day – even if it’s just for the shower.
