Kian Blume – “Parasite” + Exclusive Interview

1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

My favorite drink is an iced latte, and since the new song “Parasite” is energetic, I think a good caffeinated beverage would be perfect drink to listen to the song.

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

Right now I’m working on a lot of new songs, and I’m really liking this new kind of pop rock direction I’m pursuing.

3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

I am a strong believer in life after death. I don’t think we all just die, and though I’m not sure what happens after, I’m convinced there is something.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

My music up to this point has been very diverse, so I think a very colorful fashion style could best describe my music up until now.

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

I love writing songs with big soaring melodies. My goal is to make the listener know the song by the end. My topics usually stem from my life experiences. My message would be to follow your dreams and do everything to make them come true.

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

Besides music, I write short stories, I play chess, I draw cartoons, and I’m weirdly good at word games, such as anagrams.

7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

I think five things that people should know about me as in artist, is that Im very dedicated to making high quality music, I write very melodic music, I love the writing process way more than I love content, I am always striving to improve my songs, and most importantly I’m trying to uncover my identity more and more as time goes on.

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

I took music lessons starting at the age of 15, though I started writing on my own, and as time has gone on I’ve incorporated the feedback of many people I look up to over the years.

9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

I’ve never been asked if I believe talent is important or if it’s all hard work. I am a strong believer that talent is very important. That’s why I think people should pursue what they’re naturally gifted at. I think there’s a career for those who pursue their natural gifts.
