Jonas Blue – „Rest of my Life“ + Exclusive Interview

Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

Thanks for having me! If I was out in the evening a Moscow Mule is my drink, but to be honest I’ve been on a real health kick recently so I’m drinking lots of water!

Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

The latest single was Rest Of My Life from my collaborative project with Sam Feldt (Endless Summer), that seems to be going down well out there!

I’ve just returned from a mini south American tour – did some shows in Brazil and in Colombia, and it was amazing to be back out there. I’m home for a while now to work on some music then have an Asia tour coming up soon too.

We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

Haha how about Elvis, Michael Jackson and Tupac are all alive and well and living on an Island and have made several albums together?

What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

It’s got to be Tiffany as their colour is Blue and their style very refined.

Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

I always aim to project a feeling of positivity and togetherness, of being there for people in your life. The feeling of empowerment is also part of the message.

Beside music, do you have any special talents?

All my talents really lie in the music world but I’m very serious about fitness and weightlifting these days too.

Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

I didn’t finish school as I was already very committed to making music as a career

I’m a night owl and usually work on music throughout the night when no one is bothering me

My musical passion comes from my parents who used to play old soul records when I was young

I love touring in Asia, particularly in Japan.

I love 90’s pop music, Britney / Backstreet Boys, anything Max Martin.

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

I took flute lessons in school age 8, but really got my musical chops when I learned piano aged 10.

A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

What’s your favourite Max Martin production?  It’s gotta be Britney Spears – Baby One More Time
