Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!
Hey, I’m Joe Traxler, Vienna based indie pop artist, I write and produce my own music.
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
I’ve just released the first single ‘Don’t Dance’ of my upcoming Debut LP ‘Lifelines’. There’ll be another single release in September, a collaboration with indie artist ‚Luek‘ from ‚Naked Cameo‘, and 4 more video releases until spring 2022 when I’ll release the full album.
I’ll be touring in October around Austria, end of October until January I’ll be travelling and when I come back I’m hoping to play an album release tour if the situation allows.
Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I’m primarily a guitarist but I also play bass, keys and drums. I write and sing in English. I produce. I like collaborating.
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I like to get my clothes from vintage stores and try avoid fast-fashion retailers. I feel most comfortable in baggy clothes and I like dying my hair 😀
Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
I aim to be very honest in my lyrics. Most of the songs on the upcoming album are very introspective. I reflect on the world around me and try to understand what is going on internally and in my subconscious mind when I write.
Besides music, do you have any special talents?
I’m addicted to skateboarding. I wouldn’t say I’m extraordinarily good at it but it’s a great balance to music.

How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
I’ve always used a very intuitive approach. Although I did have great education as well, studying jazz guitar and vocals in London.
