Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?
If you would have asked me a few songs ago I would have recommended shots, no word of a lie, but this time around it’s definitely a large glass of wine.
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
Sure! “One Last Time” is the brand new song, which I actually wrote back in 2019 when I broke up with a really lovely guy who just wasn’t the right fit for me. I have a few songs out over summer too, and a few collaborations with some really interesting emerging DJs, because I have to have songs for the dancefloor too! “One Last Time” is my first music video in 7 years! I’ve wanted to wait until I feel really ready with my art, and with this video, I’m really proud of what we made.
We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
I once fell down the “Avril Lavigne is actually a body double” rabbit hole on TikTok. That was wild! I’d so be here for that if it was true.
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I’m heavily inspired by bold poppy colours and a slight punk flavour. Moschino is a brand that I used to always have in my mood boards, I love their aesthetic. Playful but eye-catching.
Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
I have two goals, to make you dance, or to make you cry; both if we’re feeling interesting! My themes are often about heartbreak and getting over a boy or ten. I love the way artists like Robyn can have the most melancholy lyrics over a thumping beat and that’s something I’ve always tried to do.
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I can cook up a storm! Name anything, I’ll find a way to make it, and I’ll find a cocktail to pair it with!
Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I used to do kpop song covers on youtube and absolutely loved it.
I do not stop talking if given a chance. When I start talking during a show it’s game over, but I want my fans to know we’re having a good time together.
No one picks up choreography slower than me; you’ll see the occasional Instagram story of me, and there’s a reason the routines never make it to the stage.
My lyrics are me at my most vulnerable, I’ll tell you real stories.
I produce a lot of my own music, as well as write/produce for other people.
How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
My best friend in high school is an incredible singer, and always has been. I realised that she was always taking time out of class to do school performances and that’s how I discovered I was so driven to get out of PE, It would actually inspire a career.

Tough one! Maybe “Who’s the most unexpected Artist in your playlist?”
I think that no one would ever expect me to listen to Epik High . They’re a Korean rap group I was into since around 2009, absolutely incredible and I still can’t understand 90% of what they say, haha.
