2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
We just released our new Album « C’est La vie » ! We put all of our hearts and mind in it, we’ve never been this proud !
We just started a HUGE tour in France, and we are SO EXCITED because we are currently planning gigs in Germany, Netherland, UK, USA ! (We can’t say any dates for now !) Stay tuned !
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as a band?!
We are best friends. We met in High School and it was a meeting of minds!
we were the misfits at that time, we were queer, kind of lost but together we felt invincible
We decided to start a band and here we are, years later stronger than ever !
We won a « victoire de la musique » which is the French Grammy for the best live act
We are fierce and proud on stage, nothing can stop us. We pack our live show with all our hearts and energy. Our concerts are a safe place where you can be who you are.
On this album, for the first time in our life we welcomed someone into our little clan and it was such a perfect match! Glen Ballard (a songwriter who worked with Alanis Morissette,Scissor Sisters,Michael Jackson..) was a game changer for our writing process. He injected a new energy in the project, with so much humility and kindness, that brought our songs to the next level. He acted as a real mentor. His energy infused our lives and gave us the strength we were missing at that time to overcome the situation (and shine again). He really changed the way we approached songwriting forever.
A lot of our influences are from the 70’s We are HUGE fans of David Byrne
for this album, we listened to Supertramp, America, Fleetwood Mac..
we wanted to have that old school vibe
so We decided to play everything live and on tape to capture this fierce energy we can have on stage,
to capture the emotion as its highest state !
At each Concert during our song « Be high with me », we’re having our own Gay Pride !
we ask our public to go on stage to dance with us, there’s LGBTQIA+ flags everywhere
it’s our favorite part of the show, because we want people to be who they are and feel safe with us.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I think a good way to describe ourselves would be a collaboration between
GUCCI and JACKASS
5. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
Only one thing ? Let say we would stop forcing artists to do TikToks to release new music! It’s terrible, Nobody likes doing this !
6. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
Empathy is at the heart of everything we do. we craft very personal songs
We love to play with different layers of emotions, our music is very vivid.
it’s super important for us to clarify the emotion at the heart of each song so anyone can understand it.
We explore our own wounds with the ambivalence of frail strength
« Crying on the dancefloor » is one of our favorite expressions.
When everything falls apart, we hope that when you play our songs you’ll feel, it’s an open hand, an invitation to take a ride on the bright side.
