Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?
I’d go with a lavender lemon soda. It’s floral, it’s citrusy it’s got some sweet and it cuts through the summer just right.
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
Sure thing. My sophomore album is coming out on the 15th of September. It’s called Something Out Of Nothing. I’m also going to tour this record in September and October which im very excited about! I’m playing my first show in Berlin at Urban Spree on the 19th of September! And I just released a single called ‘Hello’ a tune about connection in a polarised world.
We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
I hope they’re all true. Petting Dino’s and then going for a cup of tea at ET’s house. Sounds like a blast.
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I’d say 90s nostalgia with some virtual insanity of the now.
Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
My album touches on different topics. From a song about dancing as a remedy for sorrow, to one about my dad his struggle with auto immune disease. Just stuff out of my life really.
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I make a mean scrambled-eggs-on-toast. Some fresh herbs and a crack of pepper & salt let’s goooo!
Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I’ve taken naps in music sessions, woken up and wrote a killer part.
I work better with a fun hat on (preferably some one else’s)
I owe more than you know to 90s hiphop
I’m Dutch but my English is better

How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
Well. I sang along to Bob Marley once and my best friend said it sounded cool and I believed him. On the writing front I just spent a million hours doing it and copying my heroes. Also I started piano lessons at age five, and picked up a guitar later in life and taught myself, plus some help from my friends.
A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?
Yes. Finally. I have a cat called baby mew. She’s cute and tiny but asthmatic.
