1. Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!
Hi, my name is Senne Dox also know as GINGEMANE, I’m 19 years old and currently live in Belgium. I’m always busy with taking pictures, modeling, making techno music and studying law.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
I just released my newest track ‘Mental Warfare’. It is an hard acid techno track created for the absolute techno lovers. A videoclip to this track will be released soon. Also am I working on my first full album, but I’m going to keep the details a secret for now.
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
5 things you guys should know about me as an artist, the first thing is that I never took any music classes. I learned everything via youtube or myself. Thereafter I began as an artist with making hiphop beats for my friends in FL studio and later it evolved to techno music which I personally love more. But I still love the hiphop culture a lot, but not the producing aspect anymore. I’m just keeping it to listening. Third thing you should know about me, is that I’m not into happy music, everything I make is sort of underground and dark music. The aesthetic and vibe of dark and underground is just who I am as an artist. Second last thing you should know about me is that I’m never 100% satisfied with my creations, but that gives me a line to step over with every new track I create. And that makes sure I’m getting better and better every time. The last thing you guys should know about me is that I will never make a remix of an already existing song, I’ll strictly create and play my own music. Not to say that I won’t collaborate with other artists. But if I do collaborate we should start a new song from scratch and create something together that didn’t exciste before. I’m not a readymade artist like Duchamp.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
The fashion brand that would describe my music, is also my all time favorite brand BALENCIAGA. I think the brand is very techno and ironic which I really like. I bought a couple pieces like a jacket and t-shirt even saying I LOVE TECHNO on back of it which I’ll defintely wear while performing. And I also like a couple pair of shoes from them, like the Triple S sneakers and the trackrunners. The bulky sneaker design gives me very industrial vibes which you can also find in the distorted sounds used in my music.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
My songs are in the genre of techno, mostly hard acid techno and industrial/rave techno. I’m just trying to keep my audience in a sort of special vibe and trance when they listen to my music. Like the people are just enjoying the music and can really be theirselves no matter what. There is no place for racism, sexism etc. when I’m performing. I respect everybody as you everybody should do in my opinion.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
Special talents beside making music that I have are, drawing and playing sports if I have the time for it. I studied art in secondary school but chose to study law at the University of Hasselt in Belgium because besides music and creative stuff I do have a special interest for the law. And we will see what the future brings.

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
I learned everything via youtube and myself I never attended music school. It took a lot of practice on my own, but there is always room for improvement.

What is the meaning of your stage name GINGEMANE? It basically means ginger man because I have red hair and I am a man, and I used tob e bullied whith my the color of my hair but now I’m very proud of it and even use it in my stage name.
