If I would recommend your dear readers a drink to go with my latest release, it would most definitely have to be a negroni. Simple, bitter and gets you knocked out after 3 rounds.
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
So my next single is planned to be released in August. All those releases lead up to something bigger which I can’t yet talk about but let’s just say: wir werden nur was wir schon sind. I am also playing some shows in Hamburg and Vienna during late August and September. For further details check out my Instagram (had to trough in some self-promotion haha).
We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
Moon landing was definitely fake haha. No but seriously I wish this was true because people just get so emotionally invested in these topics and for them to be like: „told yaaa f**kers“ would make my whole week for sure. And as a side note: aliens would like my music for sure, so I don’t mind them coming for a visit sometime.
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
If Seth Cohen from OC California found some loafers in his dads closet and went to Copenhagen for a gap year. That would sum up the style of my music quite nicely, I think.
Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
So my songs….. ahm yeah haha. They include topics like everyday romance, sitcom like life, toxic behaviors, modern masculinity and some real life and/or daydream portrays of myself trying to navigate through my mid-twenties haha
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I can juggle haha, I’m the worst at dancing and I’m a semiprofessional singer in the shower. That might sound like I’m talentless… and it kinda is like that haha. But no seriously I’m decent when it comes to cooking I guess.
Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I’m super nervous before playing shows but when I am on stage I kinda get the hang of it and then it’s fun. My producer and drummer on stage is my illegitimate brother. I get over excited way too quickly when I like a song idea. I don’t think about stage outfits that much (maybe something I should work on haha) and Jakob (drummer, producer) and me sing „take me home country roads“ every time before we go on stage.
How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
My mom always thought that her kids should try every hobby that is available in the Austrian countryside, so guitar was an early love/hate relationship. Kept on playing guitar and step by step sang to it and started writing songs due to high demand while in the middle of my first real relationship break up (I got dumped just to clarify). Stuff like bass and piano playing where some side effects of really falling in love with the whole being a musician idea.

Question would be: would you consider yourself as somebody who is sure of himself?
Answer: No not really and I kinda started to embrace the fact that that’s okay. I have had a rough couple of months behind me and maybe even before me (who knows) but with those times there also come moments that make you really appreciate everything that surrounds you (friends, passion, whatever). Sort of like “after every downfall there comes something that made it worth going through all this shit.” And by not being too harsh with yourself, not always forcing yourself to be sure of who you are and what you want to be, you kind of make peace with yourself. And I think that’s far more important than anything else.
