Thank you very much for your time Ferry! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend fans to sip on while they listen to your new music?
Since summer is in the air which you can hear in my latest single “Time Out,” I would suggest Tequila sunrise. If you are my going to my What the F show this coming Friday on May 6 at Ministry of Sound, I would suggest something different. The what the F show is an open to close set with only my music past, present, and future. Remixed, Rehashed, reinvited….SO since it will be a long night, I would start with a shot of jager and then… pace yourself!
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
My new single with Dustin Hussain which I just released is called ‘Time Out’. We wanted to make a track that halts people from the mundane of their working week, studies, or whatever else they need a release from. It’s a signal that it’s time for the weekend. So, get ready to party! Just as I said, I have the what the F tour concept that I just launched with various shows all over the world, with the kick off at Ministry of Sound on May 6th I’m so excited about this show as we have all been working hard for it to become a reality.
I also have a weekly radio show called Resonation where I love presenting the latest tracks from a variety of genres. The show is to find out what music that I play resonates with you. Check that every week, on my youtube channel, Ferrycorsten.
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I’m incredibly handsome, I have a third nipple and a third eye, and I’m sent here from the heavens. I drive a UFO and every cruise liner is named after me. 😉
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
My music is all about diversity and at the end it is makes you feel comfortable and good about yourself. Fashion just like music is very personal, and I notice my fans are like that too. If you can look in the mirror and tell yourself, this is the world should see me and you like listening to my music as you look at yourself. That is good enough for me. Apart from that, you will always blend wearing my merch hahahaha 😉
Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message behind the music?
I always believe the journey in MY music IS the destination. A lot of the names of my tracks will you give you an idea behind my inspiration when I was making it or how I fell when listening to it. Just like my latest track, ‘Time out’… or my show concept “What the F!”
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
During the pandemic, I spent a lot of my free time learning new things, I got myself a BBQ and have been pretending to be a good BBQ master. Aside from that the garden needed attending to so I got pretty good at gardening too, something I never really expected to do in my life. I got myself a pair of green fingers, oh and I did cut my power cord twice while shaving the hedge!

A RELIEF! It’s so nice that life is somewhat getting back to normal.
How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
I learned it all by myself. I’ve always had a passion for music and producing, so I started at a pretty young age and continue to try and learn something new every day.
