My name is Tomas, I’m from Holland and I love songs.
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
This Friday we’ll release my new single, Airplanes. We shot an awesome video for it as well. And over the next few months we’ll release the rest of this EP! I’m stoked.
Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
– I love writing, lyrics are everything!
– My second name is Ferdinand (after my grandfather), So my full name is Tomas Ferdinand Rabbering, the t was originally a mistake in a video, but it stuck and we went with it.
– I dream a lot, it’s what makes time go by in a lovely way, dreams!
– I think playing guitar and singing at the same time is hard and takes a lot of focus.
– Some of my favourite artists are: David Bowie, Thom Yorke, Lianne La Havas, Bon Iver and many many more
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Somewhere between Jacquemus, Won Hundred, and then mixed with Arket.
Do you have bad habits? A guilty pleasure you can’t seem to quit?
a)
I smoke, its nasty but I love it, I’ll quit when I’m 30 though!
b)
Junkfood. I can’t seem to stop, I love fried food and beer. haha
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I love woodworking. It’s calming and rewarding. Oh and cooking, my food is on point (it involves wine)
Being on stage feels like….!
Being on stage feels like being on fire, I get shaky and adrenalined’ up’ but I love the high I get afterwards.
Must Have – and No-Go in your Wardrobe! – Favorite Fashion Brand and Fragrance?
Good Chelsea boots. Boots are sweet, versatile and awesome. Absolute no-go must be… Birkenstocks. I don’t get those at all.
My favourite brand right now is All-saints, and I’ve been wearing Chanel – Allure for about 7 years now. It’s my only fragrance!
