Doggy Style Brightens Up The LGBTQIA+ Community with Its Technicolor Collection

Underwear and Accessories Brand Introduces New Fetish Gear in Pink, Blue and Yellow

Doggy Style, the fledgling New York City-based LGBTQIA+ underwear and accessories brand, is expanding their product line.  Introducing a pop of color into their lineup later this month with their newest line of neon fetish gear, the brand’s Technicolor Collection features men’s briefs, jockstraps and harnesses in hot pink, electric blue and blazing yellow tones.  “The material is the same soft and comfortable fabric our customers have come to love but in the fun new shades that everyone has been asking for,” says the brand’s co-founder Levi Woods.  The Technicolor Collection by Doggy Style is available online at https://doggystyleunleashed.com.

The Technicolor Collection represents the next stage in the evolution of Doggy Style.  Earlier this year, Woods and Manu Bautista launched the brand with their Monochrome Collection, a line of gear in black and white tones.  Woods and Bautista, partners in business and in life, started small, with two briefs, two jockstraps, five harnesses (including two vegan leather options), four styles of stainless-steel necklaces and two styles of tees.  The briefs, jockstraps and logo harness have been their most popular items.

One noticeable modification Woods and Bautista have made in the Technicolor Collection is to the jockstrap.  Instead of the Doggy Style logo placed across the front of the waistband as it was in Monochrome Collection, it is now across the back, where, according to Bautista, it always should have been.  “The rear view (no pun intended) of a jockstrap is one of its best assets. That’s the focal point.  So, moving the logo to the rear? Well, that’s just good marketing,” Bautista laughed.

Also different from The Monochrome Collection: the company’s logo is featured on a prominent tag on the front of the jock.  The tag appears on the back of the brief, as well.  On both, the tag and logo are color coordinated to the rest of the piece, with a pleasing, satin-like texture that elevates the garment from its Monochrome predecessor.

The collection’s new pink, blue and yellow logo harnesses can be easily paired with the briefs and jockstraps, creating an ideal opportunity to create an eye catching look: wear all the same color or mix and match.

Woods reveals the idea for the company was serendipitous.  “The phrase Doggy Style came up in casual conversation, as it so often does,” he says, with a wink.

“We remarked that it would be a great name for a queer underwear company – the name is fun, it’s flirty, silly, naughty, sexy, provocative, all those things.  And we kept coming back to the idea over time with additional branding and product concepts, until it was impossible to ignore.  At that point, we said, ‘We’re onto something, let’s give this a go.’”

Give it a go, they did.  Their Monochrome Collection has already proven to be a resounding success with sales all over the world.  Bautista shares, “We have customers in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.  We’re excited to see that the brand resonates with so many, and we can’t wait to see where we go from here.”  Both free and low-cost shipping options are available, which have helped drive both domestic and international sales.

Bautista and Woods are proud of the fact that Doggy Style is set apart from other brands in the fetish market.  Says Bautista, “We have a unique vision for our brand and we are committed to creating products that we like and that we know our friends and customers will enjoy.”  They don’t rely on just their own opinions, crediting their customers as being instrumental in helping to steer the direction the company is heading.  “We love that our audience is so vocal about what they like and what they want to see from us.  They inspire us.  We want to give our customers everything they are looking for.  Having that personal one on one connection with everyone is so important to us.”

The inspiration doesn’t stop at their customers, either.  Woods and Bautista are inspired to effect positive change in the LGBTQIA+ community.  To that end, a portion of all Doggy Style sales are donated to community charities and organizations, such as The Trevor Project.  “We always said that whatever we do, we want to help others.  Giving to charities has always been an important part of who we are as individuals, and now we have the chance to give on a larger scale.  We’re still in the infant stage of our company, but we have big philanthropic goals that we’re eager to put into action as we move forward.”
