1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?
Hey, thanks for having me! Well, i always thought of my track “Damn Phones” as a song that has swag, so it’d have to be a swaggy drink… The classic Swagger Cocktail!
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
The new single is called “Damn Phones” and it’s been getting a great response from famous DJs worldwide! It’s a fun, cheeky, groovy tune with a message we can all relate to…You must check it out! In terms of live gigs, this summer is going to be pretty hectic! I’ll be playing everywhere from small beach parties, to some of the largest european festivals, so be sure to follow me on my socials for more info! As far as albums and videos go, i don’t have any planned atm, but that can change at any time… Would be cool to make a video for ”Damn Phones” though…
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
As a proud member of the “I hate printers” facebook group, i firmly believe that all printers on this planet have been sent directly from hell, to test the patience of the entire human population. Can you think of any other explanation why they suck so bad?
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I’m really digging the whole oversized, half-sleeve t-shirt fashion trend that’s been popular among DJs for some time now… I always say that the sleeves need to cover your elbow, that is a must! I’m gonna do a shameless plug here… I’m a fan of Hot Since 82’s “Low Orbit” fashion brand and a fan of his fashion sense in general. He sort of pioneered this oversized fashion style.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
A lot of my songs have a humorous, sarcastic sense to them, as i like to think those are also my personality traits. You definitely shouldn’t take a lot of my music seriously! Take Damn Phones for an example… In terms of the message contained in the lyrics, it wasn’t my intention to only scold other people, quite often i’m guilty of the aforementioned behaviour myself, so shame on me as well! 🙂
And when it comes to serious song-writing, i think people can distinguish when a song of mine is not humorous very easily. Oh, and no topic is off-topic!
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
Yes… Taxidermy. Just kidding! I’m a very prolific procrastinator… I’ve won the silver medal at the World Procrastinating Championship, but haven’t received it, due to the comittee not getting around to making it yet…
7. Being on stage feels like….!
… The best feeling in the world! I used to have terrible stage fright, so it was quite a terrifying experience… I had to learn to overcome it, and now i’ve started to really enjoy it. In the end, it’s all about the music and the vibe, and not about worrying about making mistakes or what people might think of you.
8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
I used to make up songs in my head while walking home from elementary school, so i guess i always had that gift. I thought everyone could do that, but later found out that it’s quite rare. Then at the age 13, my cousin showed me music-making software, and suddenly i could transform those ideas into reality… The rest is history.
Oh, and i cannot sing. Trust me on this one!
