Have a margarita while you listen to my new song. A little sweet and a little sour. I had my first margarita in Austin, Texas. Having a margarita always feels like a celebration and I believe it is time for a celebration. Every day should be celebrated. Smile at the next person you make eye contact with. I dare you.

I have a new song out called ‘London’. You can find it online. The internet. What a wild concept.

What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Something classic like Levi’s or the Western inspired clothing that Dries Van Noten made. A suit that you wear to your ex’s wedding. Pajamas in public.
Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
Remember the first time we met? It was winter in New York City and you asked me for a cigarette. As soon as I looked into your eyes I knew we would be together. On our first date you had a glass of wine and we ate olives at a little restaurant on St. Marks and then we went to a bookstore and kissed. What we talk about when we talk about love. That is what the songs are about.
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
Besides music my special talents are being a kite without a string, falling in love too easily, keeping my friends close to me and always being there for you. I can help you move furniture.

I am not an artist.
What is art?
I have a girlfriend who went to school for four years to try and figure out what art is and she works in a restaurant.
Ok I will tell you what art is. It is what you make and call art.
I make music for you to listen to. Music to laugh and dance and cry to.
How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
I have always known how to sing. From the beginning. I was a choir boy as a lad. My grandfather gave me his guitar and that is what I learned to play on. My best friends taught me a few chords and I started writing songs immediately. About life and love and loss and being excited and happy and sad and hi Charlotte! I wrote my first songs about Charlotte.

Am I supposed to sound interesting? I am authentic. I am in love. I am in a coffee shop in Silverlake, California using my friends laptop to answer these questions. I can see palm trees swaying in the breeze outside the window with a wide blue sky above. I used to do drugs. I still do but I used to, too.
