CASETiFY X SORAYAMA

Known as one of Japan’s leading artists, Hajime Sorayama has famously collaborated with the luxury brand Dior and had his concept designs featured with Sony’s „AIBO“ robot. Now teaming up with CASETiFY, Sorayama expresses his signature style with a collection that pursues the beauty of photorealistic bodies and machines. For this collection, fans will find tech accessories with retro-futuristic robot designs, including two sensual poses of „Sexy Robot“ and „SORAYAMA T-Rex“, as well as brand new aluminum phone cases that feature a special CASETiFY x Sorayama logo. Most notably, the collection debuts the „SORAYAMA Shark“ design, the latest work from the artist’s portfolio that is scheduled to be shown at his upcoming solo exhibition in Guangzhou, China in July 2021. As a special retail-exclusive design, customers can shop Sorayama’s masterpiece „Sexy Robot“ printed on a reflective Mirror Case, available for purchase at participating CASETiFY Studio locations.

Phone cases in the collection include mirror designs that match Sorayama’s iconic metallic art, in addition to MagSafe-compatible Impact Cases to provide iPhones with shock-resistant protection. Other accessories in the launch include a wide range of AirPods cases, Apple Watch bands, water bottles, and the first MagSafe wallet to debut in a CASETiFY collaboration. Phone case prices range from £45 – £55 GBP, and £32 – £68 GBP for accessories.

This year, as CASETiFY commemorates 10 years since its founding, the lifestyle brand is teaming up with special partners to release exclusive products. Inspired by Sorayama’s metallic art drawn from the perspective of hyperrealism, CASETiFY’s first stainless steel case joins the collection, released through a lottery system that allows only 250 pieces to be created and sold. The futuristic case is decorated with a special CASETiFY logo designed by Sorayama, with 18-Karat gold plating and limited edition numbering to give each collector a luxurious experience. Each case will also be delivered with a special frame that allows the buyer to either display the case as a work of art or store the accessory for safekeeping when not in use. Entries for the lottery will be accepted for six days from July 27 (Tue) to Aug 1 (Mon). The winner of the purchase right will be announced on the day of release on Aug 2 (Tuesday).
